An Amish Year: Four Amish Novellas by Beth Wiseman

5.0

Let me start by saying that I don't really care for novellas. I much prefer a "full-length" book that I can really sink my teeth into and get to know the characters and become immersed in their lives. As a reviewer, I have read a lot of novellas this year and this collection from Beth Wiseman is at the top of the list. I really enjoyed these four stories.

Each story is well-written. There are great character development and a great plot in each. Nothing felt rushed in these stories as is often the case in novellas. I felt like I got to know the characters and become a part of their lives. Each story is special in its own way making it impossible to pick a favorite. These stories are quick and easy reads and thoroughly enjoyable.

Any fan of Amish fiction will enjoy these stories. This would also be a nice introduction into the genre. A perfect collection of stories to delight a reader's heart!

I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion, which I have given.
