As I was reading, I thought to myself - I miss this kind of mystery series, with plot focused narratives but with relationship and character arcs spanning over multiple books. The mystery itself made a lot of sense, not too convoluted. The characters were funny and I wanted to see more of them in the next books. I would love to see a TV adaptation à la Bridgerton.
