The Bizarre and illustrious adventures of Madison Spencer continue in book #2 of Check Palahniuck’s Damned Series. Madison is condemned to earth for a year after missing her ride back to hell on Halloween night. She uses the time to further investigate the circumstances of her death and ends up learning more than she ever wanted about her life. The plot inflates to epic proportions but Madison and her quirky narration remains endearing as ever. Palahniuck leaves us waiting for a book three so Maddy can keep snarking.
