I don’t know why I haven’t read The Hartigans series if this prequel novella is anything like the rest of it. Like every other book I’ve read by Avery Flynn, it had so many funny moments, whether they’re because of banter, characters' actions, or references (specifically 80s references in this one!). And Frankie is so sweet. He's been pining for Katie for years, and the way he wants her, just as she is, is the love we all want. So...that means it's time for me to go check out the rest of The Hartigans and why everyone wanted a prequel about their parents!
