In these heartbreaking but tender essays, bell hooks manages to brilliantly tackle an issue that is rarely talked about in feminist theory (but should be). With great sensitivity and intelligence, she portrays men as victims, and not only perpetrators, of the patriarchal system. Highly recommend it to anyone, men and women, willing to look at things from a different perspective.
