Frigid
by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I'm a fan of Jennifer Armentrout (er...J. Lynn) in all ways--young adult, new adult, paranormal, romance, whatever. If she writes it, I'm there. As for this particular book, I did enjoy it, but to me, it lost steam at the ending.
This book focuses on a girl named Sydney who is in love with her best friend Kyler. Kinda formulaic but it doesn't stay that way for long. Enter sexual tension, jealousy, really crazy low self-esteem, a stalker, and a backdrop of pretty forgettable but fun minor characters, and you have a party. Nothing too out of the blue happens, so I would recommend this for readers who want a one or two day escape.
