I love all these characters so much! I love their growth, their goofiness, their sweet side, their sexy side, everything is perfect. My cheeks and heart hurt from giggling and being swooned so hard. Becka Mack's writing of the men stumbling over themselves talking to pretty girls is so cute it's ridiculous. And still there were moments my heart strings were pulled and I got tears in my eyes. The harder topics talked about in this book felt so natural and fit right in with the storyline and were handled well. Absolute perfection.

"I don’t know that grief even has set rules, only that it pretty much always does the opposite of what you think it will. You think you know what to expect because you went through it last year, and the year before, and the one before that. You’ll be prepared this time. Right? Grief’s not that simple. It’s a fucking mindfuck.
