I am absolutely blown away by Jeannette’s memoir. The book definitely lives up to the hype I’ve heard about it. Not only is she vulnerable and open about her experiences, she reflects on the toxicity of the environments she found herself in growing up and shows how she’s grown since then. One moment you’ll be laughing with her and another you’ll be crying. Highly recommend.
