The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

I don’t think I would have enjoyed this book as much if I read it as the first in the series. (I’ve read 1-4 previously). There’s such a nativity and untouchable feeling to Celaena that would probably come across as annoying but it actually feels super necessary to who she becomes in later books. This book was also a lot more thought out than 1 and 2 with better action and fantasy and provided some really interesting and necessary backstory.
