Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

5.0

This is maybe the most interesting and informative book I’ve read all year. The topic and approach is wonderful, the conclusion and afterward is great. It is thought provoking, discussable and fascinating. I can’t wait to read his new book.

Here are some of the chapters or topics I loved the most:

Agriculture revolution
This discussion of Language and Gossip
Capitalism
Wheels of industry
A permanent revolution - on time
Imagined communities have replaced intimate communities.
Consumerism and capitalism trick us into thinking we’re connected
And the lived happily ever after
The end of Homo sapiens.
