I really liked the premise of the book, and I really enjoyed the cozy vibes the first half of it or so. Then it got kinda boring.

The plot was, quite literally, that maybe the real magic is the friends we made along the way, which is funny but not funny enough to warrant four stars.

I understand the charm and appeal, but I don't think it's enough to warrant all the awards and praise this book has received.
