Could be a 2.5 star could be a 3 depends on the day honestly cause I didn't really hate it but I also am finding it hard to pinpoint anything that I liked either.
I'm gonna be honest this book was kind of stupid. I didn't like the "twist" at the end and think it made the whole story feel lackluster. I also went into this so excited because I was hoping for a summer camp thriller and I definitely got more summer camp vibes than I did thriller really. It also felt like not a lot happened like they were going about camp like nothing was wrong and weren't really doing anything about the death that just happened on camp grounds. I also hated the way that the author kept trying to get us to root for and feel for Heller, like that man ain't shit get off of your knees. This book just wasn't what I was hoping for it to be but it was a fast read so it wasn't a total waste of time.
