I found this book in a charity shop and decided to give it a go and well it was chaotic. What disappointed me the most was how the author didn't really introduce core themes of racism, misogyny or dv/abuse till mid-way.
The chapter in where she tries to court a woman into bed who is clearly not interested made me very uncomfortable as i read the thoughts of someone who was essentially trying to SA said woman.
I appreciate the way this woman's life unfolded and how by this stage in adulthood you may not be mature or capable of building the kind of life everyone around you seems to have but it honestly felt as if i was reading a horny teenagers inner monologue......
