Oh. My. Goodness. This book is actually so amazing. I relate almost completely to Bel (
minus the cheating dad and
minus the love for engineering and robotics) with her style, personality and WOO PHILIPINA REPRESENTATION!!
I do love how Bel and Teo acted around each other, convincing themselves that they didn't have a crush on each other
AND THE KISS, OH MY GOSH IT WAS MAGICAL.
. I found everything super cute. It's been a while since I actually smiled to hard from a book that I needed to scream into a pillow. It was the little things as well. Actually listening to what each other are saying, especially for a teen romance book, is pretty rare in books these days :(. Every action that they had with each other throughout the book
(maybe apart from the temporary breakup)
was so genuinely the purest form of love that I've ever heard of.
I also love the friends in this book, Jamie, Lora and Dash are absolutely amazing.
I was lowkey scared shitless that they would try and make Dash and Bel into a couple, because they seemed like AMAZING friends. Brother and sister even. They matched each others energy so well, and you could really tell that they had a strong platonic love for each other.
I wish that Dash did in fact appear in more scene's, but that may just be a me-thing.
If you really like fluffy teen romance and you want another book that you wish you were in, you should 100% read this. I will stand on this grave until my body is dragged off, and even then, I will still long for it again.
