the problem with the EDAs is that for every one good one you have to suffer through two or three bad ones

I am 95% sure Richards really badly wanted to write a post-Cold War spy novel, because that’s what this is. the Doctor impacts the plot one (1) time, Sam doesn’t impact it at all, and everything else is one group of humans trying to blow up the world and another group trying to stop them

gets credit for being readable, though, that’s a plus
