What I liked most about this story is that there are no names for the main characters. The people in the story could truly be anyone, based on what I have learned about Palestine and what I know about people with power is that what happened to both of the women isn’t a unique story. Not including names really helps get that message across and show that the Palestinian people are not welcome on their own land which is rehashed to them over and over again.
