Death in a Strange Country by Donna Leon

4.0

3.5* I rounded it up to 4 because of characters, which are very believable and real. Plot-wise, the second installment in the Brunetti series is weaker than the first one. The law doesn’t win. A lot of threads are left unresolved. The justice is served to only one of the perpetrators and not in the manner Brunetti would have wanted it.
