Sunset by Jessie Cave

4.0

The first fiction book I’ve read in a long while, driven by my avid listening to the We Can’t Talk About That Right Now podcast.

Through colourful descriptions, Cave constructs such a literary world full of profundity. So much so that that I often found myself asking, is this inspired of self experience?

Sunset is written with heartbreaking humility, swimming in raw humour. For anyone drawn to the puzzling intimacies of grief and familial bonds, this is a recommended read.
