PHEW finally finished. One of my favorite short stories and of course so much better in the original language. Really gets you thinking about the task of the translator a la Walter Benjamin and how Gabriel Garcia Marquez spewed straight facts when he said a translated edition of One Hundred Years of Solitude was an entirely separate work of art. My head hurts from finishing this one and a lot of vocab needed translating but I came out top dog.
