This was fun! Despite the stakes being relatively low it made me think a lot about the expectations of marriage put on LGBTQ people and the assumption that a relationship is only ‘serious’ if it ends in marriage. 
Hall has a funny voice and there were multiple times where Lucien’s internal monologue made me laugh, for example: 
‘Definitely not crying, I threw away my takeaway container and realised I’d thrown the fork away with it. In retrospect, that might have explained why I had so few forks.’
This was very fun
