This was such a fun read as we get to know a little more about Mao. She got to spend time with her father even if it was spent on a mystery that she ultimately couldn't do anything about. Her dad mentioned about it being fate regarding her being in the inner palace which I'm already looking forward to the next volume to learn what he means by that.
