Barbarian's Mate by Ruby Dixon

3.0

This one gave me angst. People (and ice planet barbarians) were fine with slowly decaying away to avoid being with their "mates". All the other girls were at least willing to talk to their mates not just ignore them. I think that the animosity between Josy and Headen wasn't well established in the previous books. I saw it as grumpy vs sunshine kind of a deal not 'OMG I FUCKING HATE YOU' like it turned out in this book. Anyways, appreciated the angst and the smut that happened after our main characters got their heads out of their asses and had an actual conversation.
