I’m not typically drawn to short stories but these utterly captivated me. Written in nearly a spoken form, feeling like slam poetry, whispering inner thoughts we all think only we think. The stories touch on race, politics, babies, motherhood, love, family (born & found), friendship & all gamuts of the life experience. Each story I wish could be flushed out as an entire book, not satisfied with simply the short version we get here. So well written. So well done. I really enjoyed the entire thing.
