I enjoyed this book and it’s many stories. That being said, there were many story lines that I feel we didn’t get answers to. The stories were just left hanging as the author quickly
moved to the next character/story. Also, the many character names got confusing at times. I struggled to remember who was who and who was married to who. Plus the names were very similar. That being said, the fact that this was a true story was incredible and I did enjoy reading about how each family member experienced the war.
