This was a quick read for me, but I have to admit that I didn't find it horrifying as the genre suggests. I thought it was written well and the character development was great, but I was never truly scared, nor did I get an eerie feeling while reading this book. I would maybe call it a thriller because it was intriguing, but I would not consider it horror.
