How freaking gorgeous is this cover !!!!

LEt's talk about the premise- Two magical royals who haven't met since their arranged marriage at a young age collide and each has no idea of the identity of the other????

I am a sucker for this type of romance and paired with the fantastic world-building and incredible character representation, this was an enjoyable read.

I liked how the author had these characters pining after each other and then feeling remorse as they believe they are cheating on their intended. Watching them navigate and learn each other without the titles was so romantic.

Adraa was one of those female characters who come off as entitled but has so many layers of complexities as she truly cares about her people and wants to prosper despite her shortcomings magically. Jatin wants to be worthy of his people however he does not relish the pomp and fuss of the position.

This book did a good job of describing Indian culture and mythology and I applaud the author for her intensive research. The magical system. the various Gods and the family classes were excellently portrayed.

There is a shroud of secrecy throughout the novel that only serves to heighten the reading experience and I cannot wait to see what's in store for this couple.
