Vixen in Velvet by Loretta Chase

5.0

I think Leonie is my favourite Noirot sister, don't know why, but I have a prefer auburn/red haired heroines (same as I prefer dark/black haired hero's). She is funny and quick witted and always so sure of herself, but not in a cocky way. Secondly, Lisburne is probably my favourite of the men in the dressmakers series as well. From the beginning I really liked him, because he was different from Clevedon and Longmore, he was never afraid to show his emtions, and when he did, they came much more easily and naturally. He knew he loved Leonie, and when he admitted it it was adorable. When he first slept with her and he hadn't reaslised she was a virgin, his reaction was really sweet. And OH MY GOODNESS when Clevedon found out that Lisburne had 'debauched' his sister, that reaction was even more adorable, his brotherly protectiveness just coming through. Most of all though, I love how in this book Leonie is so convinced she never has time for Simon even though she knew she was in love with him, and Lisburne's pursuit of her, always wanting her, that was nice XD Finally, the transformation that Leonie did of Gladys was rather something. So, in conclusion, this is my favourite Dressmaker book, and I LOOOOOOOOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
