Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

4.5

This book should really get a new cover, because when I first looked at it I thought it was some romance kind of like the love hypothosis, but its not like that at all. This was such a well written story that reminded me a lot of Taylor Jenkins Reids writing. The plot kept me engaged the whole time, and I found the themes of science, feminism, motherhood and greif. I flew through this book but cant rate it 5 stars bc I didnt feel that deep of a connection to the characters. I felt for her and rooted for her, but couldnt really relate or see myself in her bc of her blunt way of thinking and acting. Would still 100% recommend as it was such a fun read!
