The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop: A Memoir, a History
by Lewis Buzbee
Interesting book that had me tabbing some pages for future reference. I would agree with other reviewers in that libraries are completely left out of equation of people and books - there is indeed a segment of the book-reading population that doesn't frequent bookstores because they can't afford it, and they go to libraries (I include myself for most of my life in this segment). While I appreciated learning how bookstores came to be in their present sense and the love for discussing books - it didn't grab me and compel me to read.
