Kismat Connection

"Believing in something larger than yourself is not hopeless. Bonding yourself to your culture is not hopeless..."
This was such an enjoyable read. I loved all the references and immersion into the Indian culture. The love story was sweet but not overbearing. I also really appreciated that there was some deep, emotional content. This is a really good book club selection because there's a lot to talk about. And I think it's a really great book for teenagers and younger readers because it does talk about how hurtful your words can be, especially when you are being hateful against others and their culture. We should all learn to accept and appreciate and empower each other and each other's cultures. ❤️
