The Former Fake Boyfriend by Maya Jean

3.0

"Lonely seems to be my default state.

This book was nothing like I expected.
Of course we get a glimpse of these two in Colby and Eli's book but that was a mere peek.

Ugh Trevor.. this sweet guy who was dealt a shit hand in life.
The heartbreak.
The longing.
The pain.
It was all wrapped up in this a nice job for a quiet southern man to come and help fix.

Beau & Trevor without a doubt kept you at the edge of wanting to know what is going to happen. You couldn't help but just wish for that happy outcome.
The hurt/comfort of this book surprised me in a way that was different, there was more to them than one would think. The building of a support system in each other was paramount to Beau.
Trevor tries and fails to keep his heart out of the jobs at least until he meets Beau Callahan.
His parents are enemy number 1 in this book and for good reason. The lengths to which they go to control him is what hurts the most.
Trevor just wants to be loved and cared for, if only he could let that happen. Being vulnerable is the toughest thing to get by.

I cannot wait for more from this series and to see how the rest of the guys manage with not only Eli gone but now Trevor.
Only time will tell.
