this book felt like such a placeholder, and while i enjoyed seeing lilys journey away from loren, it just felt so dragged out. the side characters honestly carried this book for me (connor cobalt you have my heart) and i did like how much more attention was given to life outside the addictions. there was a scene in this book that made me veryyyy upset and i will not forgive the authors for it. this book portrayed the harsh reality of healing well, but it was honestly kind of boring from an entertainment perspective. i like where this series is going, and i am excited to continue watching lily and lo grow both as individuals and in their relationship. i just want them to be happy and healthy and live normal lives is that too much to ask???
