The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
5.0
This was such an accomplished, lush, confident story. It ebbed and flowed in a slow, organic way—it's definitely not a fast paced tale, but I think it couldn't have been. Not with what the character is all about, not with the amount of sheer life she's lived. It worked, exactly as it was. And while I do think the book works well as a standalone, I would definitely love to spend more time with these characters, see what happens to Addie in the end.
