Song of Susannah
by Stephen King
I bloody loved it!
It injected some fun in a very serious series that surrounds and engulfs all of King's other works. I think King used it as an opportunity to make fun of himself, and to play with some very "meta" ideas. I was fascinated by the plot's twists and turns, enjoyed the new challenges, and was pleasantly surprised when my expectations based on the title of the novel weren't met.
