Savage Prince by Meghan March

3.0

I was so obsessed with the Mount Trilogy last year, so when I heard that she was coming out with the spin off series set in the same world I was all for it. While I did enjoy it, I was expecting more.

We met Temperance in the Mount Trilogy, she was Kiera’s assistant and helps her run the Whiskey Distillery. I liked her and I’m happy she’s getting her own story. Temperance is just going through life with only going to work and going home. She’s finally becoming the person that she wanted to be. She left her life in the bayou behind and worked her ass off for a better life. She’s scared to venture off the path that she’s on.

“Maybe that’s what my life is missing. Excitement. Risk. Because I haven’t been living. I’ve been existing.”

I liked Temperance here! She was sassy and a fireball. She packs a gun and isn’t afraid to get dirty. My kind of girl! Also, turns out our Temperance is into some Kinky AF stuff. She meets a Stranger and he brings out some of her fantasies.

“That man you’re addicted to is smooth as hell but twice as dangerous.”

We don’t get to learn much about the love interest here. We get a ton of warnings about him but never his name or who he is. I will say that he is a dirty talker and I’m always a fan of that! I just need to know more, especially if he’s supposed to be as dangerous as Mount. Because we all know that Mount is a difficult man to live up to.

This ended on a cliffhanger that only Meghan March can deliver and I’m hoping that I can be next in line at my library for the next book. (I’m currently number 38 in line *sigh*) All in all, you should read this one if you are a fan on Meghan’s books and if you enjoyed the Mount Trilogy!
