The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
3.0

Here's what I've learnt about American colleges from Elle Kennedy:
Every one drinks and smokes weed.
Every one screws around or is a virgin.
Every girl has backstabbing friends while guys stick together.
Every guy has some tragic family issues.

Really this is the exact same picture she painted in The Deal and The Mistake. And frankly, even though I never went to college in the US, I feel offended. This is basically high school all over again; you're either a popular athlete, a stalker of said athletes or a little wallflower. Apparently there's no in between. And that really is the only reason for the 3 star rating, because I think Kennedy is a great writer. Her style is fresh, her characters are witty and the words leap off the page to keep you hooked. But, somehow this entire story had the exact same settings as The Deal had, and unfortunately that gets old fairly quickly. I wasn't as hooked as I wanted to be and every thing was too predictable for my taste.
