Not really my cup of tea.
I loved the decription of the landscpaes and Sing's talent of hinting at things without really revealing them. The culture and mentality of this tiny NZ community we got a glimps at was also really nice and new to me. I also liked Will (one of the main characters we follow).
That being said, the main premis of the story and the "crime" part of the thriller (or rather what came along with it) was just not for me. I read the book because in the end I wanted to know who did it, but I was just really annoyed with grown men lusting after a 19-year old.
I undertand that it is all part of the story and that (most) of the man did not act on their infatuation, but it's just something I don't really have to read if I don't want to.
