Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood

3.0

It was okay. Once upon a time I would have expected more from Ali but after Bride... Well, this was way better than that. I should have liked it more considering I kind of somehow have lived a very very similar love story and it was a bit weird to listen to something so familiar and yet so different to my situation. But I don't know, it's not as good as it could have been. Maybe because it's a novella and it feels rushed instead of savoured, or because misunderstandings get old fast as a trope... But something about this is a bit off. But not a lot.
