The book struggled to hold my attention at times, especially earlier on. 

Some good plot lines and some mediocre ones. 

I'm sure at the time it was written it was quite a progressive depiction of autism but in 2025 it feels very dated. I wouldn't say don't read it, just don't view it as educational 😅

It was enjoyable enough.
