A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven by Corey Taylor

4.0

This book deserves a proper review, if I could have given it 4.5 stars I would have. I picked this off my shelf as it is a book that has sat there for a while, not one I bought but one my fiance got from a friend. I'm glad I read it.

Corey Taylor's crazy way of writing is a welcome change to the books I have been reading recently, he goes off on tangents about thing that are completely irrelevant to the current story yet always returns to the original point, keeping it entertaining all the way through.

Instead of just ghost stories he gives his own theories and theories that friends have offered him. His idea on Intelegent energy is something I have often pondered and the science he uses behind it makes excellent reading, it may be flawed at points as he points out himself (I cannot comment on if it is because I am not a scientist) but it gets the juices flowing. He makes a stand on relegion but does not Bury it, like Vince and Shane Mcmahon vs Shawn Michaels and God, but provides his argument for and against.

His story telling in regards to his experiences are well written and full of his own brand of enthusiasm. Well worth the read and I would recommend it to anyone who has even a fleeting interest in the paranormal.
