Wow, I know I'll be thinking about this book for weeks to come.

This novel tells a story that, unfortunately, is a reality for so many women.

It was emotive and captivating. One minute I was pumping my first into the air with such joy and pride for the FMC, then I was gripped with terror and apprehension, was crying at the trauma she was exposed to and how this is truth for some.

It is a difficult read, very graphic in some parts, but this adds to the story and really gets you to reflect though it is fiction, this is more than just a story.

The author has written this novel in such a way that even though some of the chapters were difficult to read and digest (due to the nature, not the writing). I wanted to, NEEDED to keep reading, to find out if the FMC had a HEA.

I would definitely recommend Long Shot, but please check trigger warnings as the themes in this book may be triggering for many.
