The Death of Ivan Ilyich
by Leo Tolstoy
Sorely lacking in meaningful and substantial reflections on mortality and the meaning of life when faced with death. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I found nothing memorable about this at all. I would not want to read this again and honestly, if asked to describe what it was about, would only be able to say Ivan Ilyich's name and nothing else. I wouldn't recommend it to other people, either.
