I don’t believe in love at first sight, but I did fall in love with this book immediately.

I guess what made it a great book was that with each chapter, I felt something in me. If each chapter was a short story, I would still be happy. But I wanted more. The more I read, the more I wanted to take in. There was a sense of urgency and yet a whoosh of calm.

The book was an amalgamation of various stories coming together as one that were told from different vantage points – be it the main characters of Alice and Isaac or even the dog or the pharmacist. My heart leapt from page to page and went out to these raw and yet so real fictional characters.

I was in love - I just knew it.

This is a book I know I will revisit as the years go by. I would recommend this book whole-heartedly to everyone!
