It was so sad I was considering leaving the book in the middle so many times. I'm glad I didn't though, the ending was worth reading for. Broke me into fifty pieces and attached me back better than before.
mariam's death didn't just kill mariam, it killed me too. I hoped till the end she would live a happy life sometime, I'm glad she died in peace knowing she was loved though. And omg I did not expect tariq to come back. The letter from jalil added so much to the story.
