kristinasshelves 's review for:
South of the Border, West of the Sun
by Haruki Murakami
This book follows Hajime, a 37 year old husband and father. Hajime was incredibly selfish and unlikable. Without spoiling too much of the plot, he is unable to stay faithful in relationships and justified his actions to himself. It is discovered very early on that Hajime is hung up on a woman who he has not had a relationship with in 25 years. I love Murakami's writing, but this was not my favorite by him.
