Congrats to Dani on such an amazing job with book 2! I freaking loved it. Both Mara and Jack were such amazing characters. Both had been hurt from their previous retaltionships and they have been trying to do their best with the hand life dealt them. 

Mara struggling with her mobility illness as a single parent. Trying to juggle health, parenting and pretty much trying to survive. Then you have Jack. Completely emotionally closed off. After getting his heart stump on by his previous marriage he now lives his life to make his kids happy. 

When faith puts them in a situation that could be beneficial for both of them, not only will they both realized that their kids are not the only thing they have in common. Mara will be the safe space that Jack has been craving and Jack will be by Mara side in sickness and in health regardless how hard life gets. But can she be with someone that is not willing to love again? Or will that be a deal breaker for her?
