This was probably the book with the most angst so far. I had to take breaks while reading it because it stressed me out. I liked Gemma and her back story. She was a strong, smart, determined woman. She was also a sweet person under all her hardness. Ben was the character we knew from the previous books, but I didn't feel like I got to know him as much as I wanted to. I just really, really wished we had gotten more chapters from Ben's POV. He didn't get more than one chapter in his POV. It felt odd not to get more of his thoughts and feelings. Not that Ben wasn't awesome. He was. He did some super sweet things that made me swoon. And there was some bonus content I could download at the end to get more of his POV. But anyways. I did love Gemma and Ben together. They had some great banter (with the exception of the overdone teenager jokes) and chemistry. I loved seeing them fight legal and personal battles together. Overall, this was well worth the read and another great addition to the series.
