If you are looking for a cute, magical and whimsical read with a beautiful flowery writing style, this book is that one. I truly enjoyed the way the book was written, character development, the magic system...everything was so unique. And also can we just admit that that cover is splendid? Even though I loved this story very much, I couldn't give it 5 stars because of that ending. I found it too rushed and not that satisfying yet I still think this book is worth your time.
However, I don't know if I 100% agree with the fact this is supposed to be "a middle grade" story. Although I see why it is labeled this way, I honestly see older readers enjoy it way more. The world of Furthermore was raw and sometimes too cruel, but also many thoughts were too deep for such a young audience. In my opinion, this story is for everyone, no matter how old are you.
