Journeys to the Other Side of the World: Further Adventures of a Young David Attenborough by David Attenborough

3.0

An interesting book about the journeys of a young David Attenborough, filled with his trademark enthusiasm and curiosity, but perhaps a little dated. While he does occasionally raise the issues of colonialism and impact of humanity on the world's wild spaces, I feel that this side of his work was lacking compared to the brilliant writing of his later works like A Life on Our Planet. I enjoyed it, but I feel that I would've enjoyed a documentary version of this better.
