I actually kind of liked this! Although it was very dramatic and it had strong cliches, I didn’t mind some of the characters. Piper at the beginning was fairly annoying, but she developed to be less insufferable by the end of the book. Brendan didn’t have much of a personality other than liking to fish, but I honestly don’t think that he needed to have one. The concept was fine, and I wasn’t appalled by the grumpy X sunshine in this. Not the best, but it was a decent romance novel.
